eCash native addresses start with ecash:q... Use the official Electrum ABC wallet or any wallet that supports eCash (not Bitcoin Cash).
No. XEC (eCash) forked from BCH in 2020. They share the same SHA-256 algorithm but are separate chains with different addresses. A BCH address won't work for XEC payouts.
Check the host is exactly xec.solopool.eu and port 3339. No stratum+tcp:// prefix in the host field. Reboot after saving.
Check the share count in your miner's web interface. If it's going up, you're connected.
Almost certainly not. As long as shares are submitting, everything is working. Finding a block can take a long time depending on your hashrate and luck.
