Wallet Guide
You need a wallet address for the coin you want to mine — it's your username on the pool and where your payout goes. This guide covers every coin we support.
Getting a BCH wallet
BCH uses the CashAddr format — addresses start with bitcoincash:q or bitcoincash:p. Always use the full prefixed address as your stratum username to avoid ambiguity with XEC.
q... are ambiguous between BCH and XEC — the full prefix removes all doubt.Seed phrase = your coins. Anyone with your 12-word seed can take all your BCH. Write it on paper, store it offline, never photograph it or type it into any website.
Getting a BTC wallet
BTC has the largest ecosystem of wallets. For solo mining, use a native SegWit address (starts with bc1q) — these are the most widely supported and lowest fee format. Taproot addresses (bc1p) also work.
bc1q... address. Password can be anything (use x).Seed phrase = your coins. Anyone with your seed can take all your BTC. Write it down on paper, store offline, never photograph it or type it anywhere online.
Getting an XEC wallet
XEC (eCash) uses the same CashAddr format as BCH, but with the ecash: prefix instead of bitcoincash:. Always use the full ecash: prefixed address in your miner config to distinguish it from BCH.
XEC forked from BCH in 2021. If you already have an Electron Cash wallet, your XEC address is the same key — just change the prefix. The dedicated wallet is Electrum ABC.
ecash:q... address as the username.BCH and XEC share the same address format. The bare address qp3wjpa3... (without a prefix) is valid on both networks. Always include ecash: when mining XEC so the pool routes your reward to the correct chain.
Getting a DGB wallet
DGB supports multiple address formats. For mining on SoloPool.eu, use a native SegWit address starting with dgb1q — this is the recommended modern format. Legacy addresses starting with D also work.
dgb1q... address as the username. Fee is 0% at launch.Getting a PPC wallet
Peercoin is a hybrid PoW/PoS coin. For mining, you need a standard PPC receiving address. Modern addresses start with pc1q (native SegWit). Legacy addresses start with P.
Since Peercoin also supports Proof of Stake, holding PPC in your wallet can earn you ~1% annual minting rewards on top of any PoW block finds.
wallet.dat file to a safe offline location.pc1q... or P... address as the username.Bonus: PoS minting. Once your PPC block reward arrives, keep the coins in Peercoin Core with staking enabled. Your wallet will automatically participate in Proof of Stake and earn ~1% annual interest — no extra setup required.
Getting an NMC wallet
Namecoin is merge-mined with Bitcoin — your SHA-256 miner earns NMC for free alongside BTC. You need a Namecoin wallet address to receive your NMC block reward. Addresses start with N (legacy) or nc1q (SegWit).
Pool fee is 0% at launch — all NMC block rewards go to your address with no deduction.
wallet.dat file in a secure offline location. This is your only recovery option.Merge mining = free NMC. If you're already mining BTC on SoloPool.eu, adding NMC costs you nothing extra — the same shares that find BTC blocks can simultaneously find NMC blocks. Configure both in your miner for double rewards from the same hashrate.
